Al-Ettifaq are reportedly interested in out-of-favour Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and could be prepared to make a move for the Belgian striker.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Belgian striker has offers from clubs in the Saudi Pro League although it is unclear if the former Inter Milan striker would make the move to the Saudi side.
According to Jacobs, Chelsea will push for Lukaku to accept the offer from the Saudi side if a deal with a European giant like Juventus for example cannot be agreed.
Not only are Al-Ettifaq interested in the 29-year-old forward, but there was previous interest from Al-Shabab in the former Everton man.

Would Lukaku make the move to the Saudi side
Despite the interest from Steven Gerrard’s side in the Belgian forward, whether the Saudi side would be able to afford his wages and the transfer fee remains to be seen.
Juventus are still interested in Lukaku, according to Jacobs, so they could well come up with an offer for the striker but the Italian side need to get Dusan Vlahovic off the books before they can proceed with the deal for Lukaku.
This could well open the door for Al-Ettifaq to make a move and already add to their Premier League experience with Jordan Henderson, formerly of Liverpool, lining up in midfield.
One player who won’t be making the move to the Saudi side is seemingly Mason Greenwood.
After The Sun’s report of the Saudi side being prepared to offer the forward £10 million a season, Gerrard posted on his Instagram a screenshot of the article in question and described it as ‘fake news’.
Lukaku, were he to sign, could well be the starter with former Celtic and Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as a back-up in a formidable attack.
